Evanescence is an fantasy wolf rpg. We have a minimum word count per post of 175 words. Newbies are welcomed, but they must be able to reach that, or at least be willing to try, and ask for help if needed. Staff are more than happy to advise on how to post better replies.
Being a Fantasy rpg, we allow your wolves to be different colours and be able to do things that a normal wolf or wolves would not. It is also a Light, Dark and Neutral roleplay site. And finally, Foxes, Coyotes, African Wild Dogs and Hybrids of any of those are welcomed. We're a friendly and active community here. Come join us!

Plot.
Several years ago, scientists were experimenting on a new gas that would cure fleas and ticks from wildlife, making life a little bit healthier for living. It wasn't harmful to the animals, but would destroy any bacteria or flea that was living on the coats of wildlife. One day, a fire broke out, and it caused the gas to spread across the entire area. Wolves were exposed to it an and it caused their coats to have different colorings as well as special abilities.
The humans were killed becasue the gas was toxic to them. The wolves now roam every area and the forests seemed to have grown over every inch of the city, hiding old buildings and overgrowing. The wolves have a bit of a problem though...there is a rogue pack of wolves to the north, who are more aggressive and think that they should rule over the entire world. While this other pack is more easy going and mellow.
The question remains...which path will you choose? the ultimate power? Or the ultimate failure?

Saturday 28th November 2009 The Cannibal Plot News The plot is commencing! The Rogue Pack has announced they will be attacking the Tiani Pack (Light Pack) first, who of which aren't even vaguely aware of the Rogue's existence. It'll be a shock to the system to the pack who don't agree with fighting! No date is set in stone yet, but as soon as this thread ends and Eveon escapes back to West Brighton City, the Tiani pack will only get a few days warning before the strike.
Within the Lux (Dark) pack, the wolf Adder has received visions of the Rogue pack striking and a Pack Meeting has been started. Make sure to have all your Lux wolves attend the meeting.
The ban on creating Rogue wolves has been temporarily lifted on condition that you message WH beforehand.
Breeding: No. Birthing: No. Weather: The temperature has plummeted down to below freezing point and with it, brings ice and snow. The landscape has changed dramatically visually too. Whiteness coats every level surface, even the backs of any animals that stay still too long. Days are short and nights are long... these are dangerous times... so, venture out into the cold at your own risk.

Hey all, I came up with the idea for a newsletter type of thing where guests and members can learn more about this site, what we're doing to perfect it so you come on more frequently, and learn most importantly about who your admins are.
My name is totalalphagrl30, but most people around here just call me Total or Alpha. If you want to call me grl30, your free to do that too. I do not do technical stuff, that's my friend Swift. She'll post later. I am really good with answering questions and helping with anything that may concern you. I live to please.
I'm always making new wolves and I love to post with them. Most of my wolves that I create are Darks or Neutrals. I only have a few Light wolves. I prefer to make males, but I make females often too. Anyways, some of the admins may or may not post in this newsletter due to personal reasons, but a fair few of us (myself, Swift, Yue, and Raptus) will. We all want your opinions so feel free to get in touch with any of us. We love to have new members.

Hello guys!
I'm Swift aka Swifty (I'll answer to both) =]. My real name is Steph, if anyone is bothered for calling me that xD. I'm 18 and from the UK, but that's visible from my profile anyway. I have a great love of Art and spend much of my free time doing it in all different mediums (digital & traditional). I've also two pet dogs; a Westie and a Border Sheltie. That's probably enough of my real life for now =P
As Total mentioned earlier (btw thanks Total! ^^), I do a lot of the techy stuff here but I try to run everything past another admin before anything major is implemented. I think I'm the only one that can understand the majority of the coding used on this site so if you spot anything modified in the layout, chances are, I'm the guilty one! If something doesn't look quite right anywhere in the layout and sidebar, please don't hesitate to tell me and I'll get to it asap =]
Roleplay preferences... hmm... I guess I'll keep this simple and say I've yet to actually create a male character xD. Adding ALL my characters together on every site I'm on would come to a total of 6 female characters and 0 males. A pattern, no? xD. Other than that, I can say that I've only been roleplaying since January this year but I think I've been able to pick up the writing style reasonably well =]
I'm a bit lost for what else to say other than I have LOADS of ideas for this place to get it going again with many active members because I think this forum has so much unexplored potential! =D
