Evanescence is an fantasy wolf rpg. We have a minimum word count per post of 175 words. Newbies are welcomed, but they must be able to reach that, or at least be willing to try, and ask for help if needed. Staff are more than happy to advise on how to post better replies.
Being a Fantasy rpg, we allow your wolves to be different colours and be able to do things that a normal wolf or wolves would not. It is also a Light, Dark and Neutral roleplay site. And finally, Foxes, Coyotes, African Wild Dogs and Hybrids of any of those are welcomed. We're a friendly and active community here. Come join us!

Plot.
Several years ago, scientists were experimenting on a new gas that would cure fleas and ticks from wildlife, making life a little bit healthier for living. It wasn't harmful to the animals, but would destroy any bacteria or flea that was living on the coats of wildlife. One day, a fire broke out, and it caused the gas to spread across the entire area. Wolves were exposed to it an and it caused their coats to have different colorings as well as special abilities.
The humans were killed becasue the gas was toxic to them. The wolves now roam every area and the forests seemed to have grown over every inch of the city, hiding old buildings and overgrowing. The wolves have a bit of a problem though...there is a rogue pack of wolves to the north, who are more aggressive and think that they should rule over the entire world. While this other pack is more easy going and mellow.
The question remains...which path will you choose? the ultimate power? Or the ultimate failure?

Saturday 28th November 2009 The Cannibal Plot News The plot is commencing! The Rogue Pack has announced they will be attacking the Tiani Pack (Light Pack) first, who of which aren't even vaguely aware of the Rogue's existence. It'll be a shock to the system to the pack who don't agree with fighting! No date is set in stone yet, but as soon as this thread ends and Eveon escapes back to West Brighton City, the Tiani pack will only get a few days warning before the strike.
Within the Lux (Dark) pack, the wolf Adder has received visions of the Rogue pack striking and a Pack Meeting has been started. Make sure to have all your Lux wolves attend the meeting.
The ban on creating Rogue wolves has been temporarily lifted on condition that you message WH beforehand.
Breeding: No. Birthing: No. Weather: The temperature has plummeted down to below freezing point and with it, brings ice and snow. The landscape has changed dramatically visually too. Whiteness coats every level surface, even the backs of any animals that stay still too long. Days are short and nights are long... these are dangerous times... so, venture out into the cold at your own risk.

Hey guys,
I suppose it's time for another updates thread to keep you all posted on all the changes going on round here. The last few weeks have really been a team effort to organise, exchange ideas and just generally give feedback. I think it's been brilliant! Well done to all of you that have helped out =D
Onto the detailled stuff now...
I think the most obvious one to the layout would be the addition of the news section in the sidebar. I'll be keeping it updated with various "goings on" and things you should probably take a look at when you get a few minutes spare.
We now have a raffle going on every month. Lance and myself will be taking turns to host it every month so we still enter (when I host, Lance can enter and vice versa). The prize is permission to create a domestic dog breed character (e.g. a labrador). Only one will be created a month, so they will be reasonably rare. And, congrats to Aurora for winning this months prize [Thread]
I'll be posting the new raffle thread momentarily. It will be up for about a week (or two, if there's low numbers) so make sure you post as soon as you can =]. Have an idea for a prize for a future raffle for something other than the permission to create a domestic dog breed character? Let me know via a reply to this thread or by PM, I'd love to hear your suggestions =]
Total came up with the idea of having all of the admins give a little information on themselves, to help all the members get to know us a bit better. So far, only me and her have posted, but I hope the other admins will too when they get time ^^. Go have a look here.
I've started putting together the Guide to Evanescence that I've been rambling on about for sometime to a few of you. The first part being a Guide to the Packs. It's still in the draft stages but I hope when it's done, it'll be a great help to any new members. Fallen's contribution to the Callem Pack information has been brilliant (infact all of the info was written by her), we just need to get the other two packs up to the same standard now =]
In relation to the Sub-Plots, I think everything is coming along brilliantly. The "Cannibal" plot has had a lot of input from many members and it really shows. Go have a read -her e- about all the plot planning and check out the Pack thread. The plot will be starting reasonably soon so it'd be ideal if you're clued up on it beforehand ;D
The other Sub-Plot; the Negation Virus, still needs more input before it can be started. I dare say it will be started after and probably during the Cannibal one, which in some ways could be a good thing (leading to Shavar's downfall and whatnot). Either way, the idea could do with more input before we can get it going =]
Would a "Sub-plot" sidebar box be a good idea? I guess I could just put any of that in the news section to save space. What do you think?
I think it's time we had a season change, isn't it? We've previously had an every lasting Winter, and now it seems we're getting an ever lasting Spring xD. Because the previous two have lasted so long, would anyone rather I switch straight to Autumn or shall we go on to have a late Summer? I quite fancy going straigh to Autumn with all the beautiful colours but I could be on my own with this xD
I believe that'll do for now!
